Bailey and Sammi

September, 2011 - Here are Bailey and Sammi, a bonded pair of females whose owner had to give them up when the landlord changed his mind about allowing them to come and live in his building. At only 4 months old, they have developed such a strong bond that they eat together, sleep together and play together, and cannot stand to be apart for more than moments at a time. They love to be out doors when the weather permits. All of their shots are up to date and they have been tested for heartworm. They are crate-trained as well. Both Bailey and Sammi are working hard on their house-training, and are coming along as well as can be expected at their age. It is imperative that they be adopted together as it would be unthinkable to separeate them at such a young age.

November, 2011 - An update. Bailey and Sammi are going in to be spayed November 18th. They also have been excellent in their house training and we no longer have any worries. In fact they have learned to go to the door when they want out to go to do their duties. Like everything else, they do that together as well! We still have not detected any character flaws with this loving pair, but remain convinced that they should be adopted together.

January, 2012 - Great News. The girls were adopted to a nice family in Ontario. Although there had been quite a few inquiries about them, most people wanted only one. So with luck a couple who had recently lost one of their two bassets took them home. And what a cooincidence - their remaining girl was also called Bailey. We are so happy that they could be adopted together as we have not seen such a close pair of siblings. Good luck, girls!
