Darby
March 2006 - As is too often the case, Darby, a 2 year old male "no longer fit the family's lifestyle" and he was discarded when they moved. Without a family to belong to he lost the will to live and developed such a bad cold that nearly ended his time on this earth until Candian Pet Rescue Serices were able to provide a temporary shelter. Darby is a shy fellow, but his timidness suggests a possible background of neglect or abuse. He would do better with a family that doesn't have other animals, or has a female that will rule the roost. Darby needs lots of love and companionship.
July 2006 - Darby has come home! The news is great. After a temporary set-back with a lady who turned out not to be "Basset people", darby has found a home in Ontario. It sounds too good to be true, but he and a family have adopted each other. So far it seems it might be the proverbial "match made in heaven". We're sure Darby is in heaven.
