Freckles
September, 2008 - Here is Freckles, a healthy, energetic one-year old female who was given up for reasons we're not totally sure of. She was the pet of a young boy. You have to wonder why someone would give up their pet, but that's what has happened. If there is anything we have learned as a foster family - it is people give up their pets for many reasons, and usually it is because they weren't properly prepared to have a pet in the first place. Freckles is house trained and all her shots are up to date. There was at least one dog and cat her first home, so can be expected to get along with other pets. We have 3 dogs and she has been playing with them since her arrival earlier today. Freckles seems to have a little separation anxiety, but it probably results from her confusion as to what is happening to her. So far, we can see no reason why this affectionate girl shouldn't make a wonderful addition to a suitable family.
Later in September - Freckles has been lucky. She has found a family who have taken her in. All the best Freckles - enjoy your new home!
