Harriet |
January, 2010 - Meet Harriet - a one year old, rescued from the pound on the day before she was to be put down. Although her background is not known, she has since had all her shots and tested negative for the common canine illnesses including heartworm. She came to our house after 3 months at a local kennel and immediately became "one of the family". Despite her unknown past and time in the kennel, she proved to be totally housetrained. Harriet loves to run and play outdoors, and indoors with our dogs and their toys. She is extremely affectionate and loves to give kisses. Harriet suffers from mild separation anxiety and should be placed in a home where she is not left alone for long periods. Harriet has rather unusual markings which make her quite unique. Her head is a typical basset tri-colour, but her body is black and white with just a hint of tan on her back. May, 2010 - Good news! Harriet found a new home. She has gone to live with a wonderful lady nearby and extended family who just love her. As well, she has a couple playmates - a little girl and a cat. We are so happy for Harriet! |Back| |
