Mado - at her foster home
Mado3

Here’s your chance to have a genuine Montreal “Bagle”. I’m half-Basset and half-Beagle. You’ll get the affection and trust of the Basset Hound, and the joy of the Beagle. I’m totally irresistible. Still fresh at five years of age, I could be spoiled quickly in my new home and still be good! People love me and I love them. I’d like to spend all my time just being around you, and I’ll put a smile on your face whenever you look at me. I am a confident girl with a zest for life. I am a tri-color (poppy, sesame-seed and not very plain!).

mado1"Hello,

"Maddy is doing really well. She is quick to learn and has really settled in. Are you sure she is 5 years old? I would peg her more at about 2! She is a busy, busy girl and can get into stuff quicker than you imagine. She has the most amazing "I'm so sorry" look and she is truly guilt-ridden about the situation but it doesn't stop her from doing it again given the chance. She is a delight and is so much fun to play with. Chester is adjusting and they get along fine - will take more time to become fast friends but there have been no problems.

mado2"Maddy just rules the roost so I have to make sure Chester gets his share of attention. She will try and squeeze him out but she is learning that there is enough attention and hugs and food for all. She is very funny and like all hounds seeks the most comfortable spot - sleeps on her back with all four feet in the air. I have attached a picture of her on her own but should've gotten one with Chester. Just wanted to let you know that all is going well and she is adjusting nicely. Also has taken up guard duty in the backyard and is devoted to keeping the squirrels and even birds out of the yard."
